The One Where I'm a Baller

 Hey y'all!! Hope your week was good!! It was another good one in North Las Vegas!! Let's get into it....


Some happy things and what I learned from them:
• AI'JAYANE IS #BAPTIZED!!! It was such a good baptism. Even though Tray had to baptize her 3 times because she would float up and then he also didn't say her first name one time. She is the newest member of the Sierra Ranch ward!! We are so excited for her. She was just beaming the entire time. My favorite quote was when she said, "My baptism filled my heart with so much joy!" Eeeekkk I'm so happy for her.
• We went over to the Lockharts to give them some car seats and ended up having an impromptu lesson with them. And we put Danielle on date for the 3rd of February!! I might not be there, because transfers happen in 10 days. But it is still so so happy. She is the coolest lady. I just love her!!
• We have been teaching one of our friends for about 2 months now and he just wont commit to a date. We taught him the word of wisdom this week. I was sooooo scared to teach this lesson, because I knew he was gonna have a concern with it. Come to find out, he already knew about it and has been working on his word of wisdom concern recently!!! YAY. And the spirit was so strong in the lesson and we just taught straight from the scriptures. It was so good!
• We had stop teaching a grandma and her grandsons a while ago. Because they said they weren't ready yet and would call us when they were. And then she said that we were too persistent. Whatever, we just want you to have exaltation, so of course we are going to be persistent! Anyways... she called us out of the blue and said that her family was ready!! Crazy cool miracle.

Some hard things and what I learned from them:
• I hate being ghosted by friends even more than I hate being ghosted by boys lolll (jkjk boys never ghosted me). But anyways. A few of our progressing friends have GHOSTED us this week. How dare they!!! I hate that part of missionary work, where they are so close and then they face some sort of opposition. It sucks. But we keep praying for them and know that one day they will accept the gospel.
• I hate when people cancel on us. We plan our whole day and make plans around their appointments and then they cancel at the door after we biked our little booties all the way to their house. And prepared a fire lesson for them. But I just have to remember that they cancel appointments because God has a different plan for us. At that time he needed us to find people to hear His message or give someone on the street a smile. This is the Lords work and the Lords work is perfect.
• Oh and I chopped my hair today. But yo will have to wait until next week to see it!!! Muahahhah

Some funny things that made me laugh:
• ok. All you Utah, Idaho, Montana, and people who live in Antarctica people don't hate on me. But.... its COLD here. I think it is mostly because I am walkin around in it all day everyday. But i get all bundled up to go outside, even though it is only like 40 degrees most the time here. I don't know why its so cold to me, because i literally lived in Logan!! I don't know. I guess im a baby.
• We were biking in a neighborhood and some kids were playing basketball in their driveway. The ball rolled out in the road, so I was like "oh I'll get it for them". I got off my bike seat and leaned down to grab the ball. I has my phone in my hand with the basketball and I went to chuck it. Butttt the phone goes flying in the air too!! It was literally in like slow motion. Just flying through the air. And lands so hard and cracks my screen just a tiny bit. The kid just walks over and hands me my phone while I am crying laughing. It was so funny lol.
• Ai'Jayane is such a character!! We were taking pictures before her baptism in her white jumpsuit and then she pulls out some Takis and starts chomping on those red, crumby, dirty Takis in her white baptism jumpsuit!! Bahahah sooo funny. I just love her so much

Drum roll please🥁🥁🥁🥁Sister Rose time!
Faith is EVERYTHING!! So many times in the scriptures, it says "thy faith hath made thee whole", "by thy faith", "according to thy faith". We can be healed, helped, protected, saved, and be delivered by our faith!! My favorite example of this is Enos 1:8 "And he said unto me: Because of thy faith in Christ, whom thou hast never before heard nor seen. And many years pass away before he shall manifest himself in the flesh; wherefore, go to, thy faith hath made thee whole"
We just need to have faith and Christ can heal us, make our burdens light, and deliver us. #sograteful for this promise!! I love my Savior Jesus Christ! I love my Father in Heaven! I love this perfect plan that he has for us. #grateful

  Hey yall! Another great work in Kingman. Sometimes I feel like I am not in America and this was one of those weeks. I love it! Let's get into it.... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Our friend Linda is just THE best ever. She is so short, the top of her head literally comes to the bottom of my ribs. But she is just like our little grandma. I love her. Guess what!?! Her baptism day is upon us! Long awaited, but it is this Saturday and she is so so so excited!! She told us yesterday that she just feels so ready! She feels like she has done the work(which she for sure has) and she feels ready to make this covenant with God. That is what the Atonement of Jesus Christ does for you people!! It brings you confidence. Confidence in the Lord and confidence in your abilities through Jesus Christ!! • We had a lesson with a returning member and his fiancé, Shi.  Hey yall! Another week! It was a miraculous week! Let's get into it........ Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Ahhhhh our friend Adhan is so amazing! She wants to be baptized but has not been able to come to church because she works on Sundays. We taught her the restoration yesterday and she ABSOLUTELY loved it!! She told us that she qas so grateful that she found the right church! She asked her boss last week for Sundays off and he let her know today that she can have an hour and a half off to go to church!!!! Ahhhhh we have been praying so hard for her yayyyy!!! • We have been trying to help thos part member household to feel loved and welcomed. But it has been hard to get to them. Yesterday we decided to heart attack their door and right notes and scriptures. So we did!! The non member husband texted us and thanked us for doing that because they had had a really hard day!!
