Hey yall! Sorry I missed writing last week. We went to the temple, we played a lot of pickleball, my shoes broke so I was being a lil homemaker and sewing them back together, and I just got too stressed to write. But I am back and better than ever!! It is transfer week and I am going to be staying in the Foothills YSA ward... and training a new missionary again. Crazy. Pray for me and her. Anyways, let's get into it...... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • TWO of our recent converts got to go to the temple this week! SAANY and KYLE!! Yay!! We got to go with Saany! He loved it so much!! He texted us before and told us that he was just going to watch today, because he was nervous (we decided to ignore that text) but his friend convinced him to just go for it!! He got to baptize Sister Stoddart and I for our ancestors and it was literally such a full circle moment lol. We helped him get baptized and then he baptized us loll.  • For a long time, we have been trying...

Hey yall! Its been a good week. Not really much has happened, but we will update ya on some miracles! Some happy things and what I learned from them: • We have been really working on finding through our members and planning our days around inactive or struggling members! This week we got in contact with 2 inactive members and has lessons with them!! We gained really god relationships with them in the lessons and...... they came to church on Sunday! The ward really took them in and made them feel so welcomed! It was awesome! • We got to go to Hoover Dam last P-day! It was so fun and we got to do the top secret tour because a member works there!! You get a lot of things for free as a missionary! • We did a lot of biking this week which was super fun!! We actually found a few people from biking around and talking to everyone! Super cool! • Our ward helped Dana move into a new place and dedicated her house after! It was so sweet and we didn't even plan it!! Love how they are taking h...

Hey yall! Another great week. Also, happy mothers day to all the mothers out there!! Especially you Momma Rose. You da best. Let' get into it..... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • My first transfer in the Foothills YSA ward, Sister Gariety and I watched a kid wreck a dirt bike while we were in a neighborhood. We said a prayer with him and got his info to contact him. Fast forward to Sunday night we were walking around a neighborhood that we felt inspired to go to that wasn't planned in. We were walking around the neighborhood and Sister Stoddart felt like we should walk around the neighborhood and look for people that were in their garages. I was like ok sure. So we did. We saw a guy get out of his truck and we yelled out to him. We asked if anyone needed a prayer right now. He said actually ya, my son does. So he took us inside to say a prayer with him. When we walked in, the kid and I made eye contact and he just goes "No WAY! NO WAY! NOW WAY!". H...

The One Where I'm a Clutz

Hey ya'll!! It was a good week with lots of fun stuff going on!! Lets get into it...... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Saany got baptized!! It was so good. A friend of his from high school came and baptized him! It was so cool. Come to find out, that guy was a convert and had also baptized three of their other friends from high school!! One person who is faithful and finds joy in their faith can convert so many! So cool!! • Weekly planning miracle again!! We were planing our week, which I hate doing btw. Its literally like 3 hours of just sitting there planning, it kinda sucks. Buttttt we got a call during it and we answered and it was a recent convert who had been baptized in our area a while ago but had moved out. He said that his wife wanted to be baptized now!! So cool. We got to talk to her and help her get in touch with missionaries near her. • We met an inactive member on campus one day and we had a really good conversation with her. She said that she wo...
