The One Where I'm a Clutz
Hey ya'll!! It was a good week with lots of fun stuff going on!! Lets get into it......
Some happy things and what I learned from them:
• Saany got baptized!! It was so good. A friend of his from high school came and baptized him! It was so cool. Come to find out, that guy was a convert and had also baptized three of their other friends from high school!! One person who is faithful and finds joy in their faith can convert so many! So cool!!
• Weekly planning miracle again!! We were planing our week, which I hate doing btw. Its literally like 3 hours of just sitting there planning, it kinda sucks. Buttttt we got a call during it and we answered and it was a recent convert who had been baptized in our area a while ago but had moved out. He said that his wife wanted to be baptized now!! So cool. We got to talk to her and help her get in touch with missionaries near her.
• We met an inactive member on campus one day and we had a really good conversation with her. She said that she would come to church with us!! So she came to church this week and it was fast Sunday! So it was everyone bearing their testimonies, she leans over to me with a sly look on her face and goes " are you gonna bear your testimony???" And i go, "i cannn." So I get up and start to think about what she needed in her life right now. I talked about the scripture Helaman 5:12. I felt the spirit tell me what i needed to say so strongly. It was amazing and i am so grateful that we have testimony meeting every month to be able to testify of Christ and feel the confirmation of the spirit every time we do!!
• We took lot of members our finding with us this week and it was so fun!! I love our members.
• We got to play softball with the Vances and the zone today!! I suck at softball, but its aight. It was fun.
• I just love Sister Stoddart!! We both needed each other so much at this point in our missions. I am grateful for her and how much fun we are having together!
Some hard things and what I learned from them:
• It is so sad when people don't recognize the importance of baptism. You are just like nooooooo literally it will change your life!! And the holy ghost can help you in everything in life!! Its hard when they get so close and then just push it off. Alma 34:32 says to not procrastinate the day of your repentance!!
• Its getting pretty hot up in here. I have squint lines from squinting from the sun. So don't say anything when I come back looking like I aged a million years with all my wrinkles. Sun damage is real. Stay inside kids.
Some funny things that made me laugh:
• So I am kinda a clutz, as you all know lolll. And this story will tell you if you didn't already know.... so my companion is the DD (designated driver) this transfer so that leaves me with the glorious job of being the backer. So when she backs the car I have to stand outside and be like those airplane guys with the sticks and tell her that we are good to proceed backwards. I think its so funny to go in the back and get really close to the back so that the sensors male the car go into a brake check hahaha. So i did that this time and then to get back at me my companion let the car roll forward after I had opened the door so that I had to run alongside the car. I was running with the car and then I decided that I was going to jump into the car to be funny as well. Welll..... my companion braked at the same time that I jumped, so I jumped up and SMACKED my head right on the top of the door way and fell backwards onto the ground with one foot in the car lollll. It was so funny and we could not stop laughing about it for the rest of the day.
• I got to see cutie Sister Chappell and Sister Jenks today at our zone softball today. I have missed them oh so much!! It was so fun to get to reunite and giggle together again. Super fun!!
• today one of the elders was looking at me and then asked if my eyes hurt from the sun because I have blue eyes. Ummmm.... why you lookin at my eyeballz sir.
Drum roll please

Sister Rose time!!

Sister Rose time!!I am so grateful for prayer. This week I have tried to say more verbal prayers, because my brain just gets super sidetracked inside of my head. Saying my prayers out loud has helped me to really feel like I am speaking with my Heavenly Father. I know He hears me. I know He loves me. And I know He is just waiting for you to call upon His name so that He can bless you with everything that he has in store for you! So call on His name!! After all, He is the only one that knows you better than you know yourself. He knows you perfectly.
I love yall
Sister Rose
