Sister Emma Rose - Nevada Las Vegas Mission

  Hey yall! Guess what..... it's transfer week. You know what that means!! Transfer news! I am staying here in Anthem/Democracy/Seven Hills and training a new missionary, so I am giving birth again!! Yay!! This time I am really happy to train, because Sister Wright helped me to have a good experience last time. I am excited. ALSO! Sister Liljenquist and Sister Wright, two of my precious trainees, are both training too!! I am so excited! They are both amazing sisters and going to kill it! I love you Sister Wright, you are so ready! Let's get into it.... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • We met a new friend, Veronica, who has been taught by missionaries a little bit in the past. We stopped by her house and her husband said to come back the next day. So we did. And she was SOOO happy! She was so grateful that we stopped by, because she has been GOING THROUGH IT! We read Mosiah 24:13-15 with her and talked about how the Lord strengthens us. And we invited her to be ...

 Hey yall!!  This was a fire week!! I keep comparing my time now as a missionary to when you first start doing yard work and you are trying no to get your clothes dirt. But then you get one stain of dirt on your shirt and then your like, whatever! Lets get down and dirty. We are already in too deep. So then you just start goin and nothing phases yoou. That is the point of my mission I am at right now and I LOVE it! Let's get into it........ Some happy things and what I learned from them: • We had Zone Conference this week and it was so awesome!! It was so good to see all my favorite people. Especially my homie sisters from my last apartment (Sister Wright, Palmer, and Jackman, LOVE YOU SISTERS). I just really enjoy getting to gather with fellow missionaries. They strengthen me and teach me SO much!! • Our friend Tegan got baptized!   Hey yall! This was an amazing week! I love being a missionary. I was just in awe this week of how grateful I am to have this time to learn how to trust in the Lord wih everything and how to serve Him. Let's get into it....... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Renee got baptized!! Se has been such a joy to teach. Truly prepared from the beginning. I don't know if I have already told her story, but I am going to tell it now, just in case. Her step daughter referred her to the missionaries about 2 years ago. She told the missionaries that she was not ready yet and that she would call them when she was ready. Well... last transfer she called the sisters here and said she was ready and had already bought herself a journal Book of Mormon. She was ready to feel the joy and peace that her step daughter and her family experienced and emulated. She accepted and loved everything we taught with no questions asked.   Hey yall!! Its been a good week here in Hendertucky! I am loving it and learning a lot. Let's get into it........ Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Remember how Renee was supposed have her baptism this last Saturday wellll. It didn't end up happening, but for a good reason!! She told her fam that are members and they are coming to her baptism and they are making the whole program!! Which is so nice for us missionaries!! Yasss. It waa actually so cool!! Renee's step daughter calls us crying and thanking us for teaching her stepmom. She said that we are witnessing a miracle. I felt the spirit so strong on that phone call. God truly is preparing people to receive the gospel. So grateful that I got to witness this miracle of Renee being baptized. • Renee's hubby is not a member either.
