Hey yall!! It was awesome week! I really love being a missionary. Shout out to my cousin Savannah, now Sister Garrett, I am so honored to be a missionary with you!! Lets get into it...... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Veronica was baptized yesterday!! She gets sick a lot and we were praying for her the whole week that she wouldnt get sick and have to cancel her baptism last minute. Literally every second we were praying. And the day of her baptism came and she got a little sick, but she said she couldnt cancel. The Lord strengthened her! And when she got out of the water, she said she didnt feel sick anymore!! So amazing! She was so happy. • I went on exchanges this week with Sister Bagley. We went to my area and Sister Tripp and I had only found 6 people that week. Sister Bagley and I set a goal to find 7 people! We had such a fun day and found 9 english speakers and 6 spanish speakers (she is a spanish missionary!). Such a fun day filled with many miracles. ...

Hey yall! Its time for another weekly email from the one and only Sister Rose!! It was a good week. Honestly dont know what happened. Lets get into it...... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • I went on two exchanges this week! One was with Sister Gannon. She is the best!! I love her so much! She just came out on her mission about 3 months ago. She is out of training now and she was so excited to show me that she can do missionary work so well now that her "in training" title has come off her head. Lol she was an amazing missionary last transfer too, but she really has just grown so much!! So awesome! I loved getting to learn from her. • My other exchange was an STL exchange with Sister Potter!! She is seriously amazing!! I came out with her and then we served in a dustrict together for 3 transfers. She is serving on the UNLV campus and everybody knows how i feel about that!! So God gave me another chance to experience campus and dream of serving there!! It was...

The One Where This is God's Work

Hey yall! It's been a good week!! We have seen many miracles. I am grateful to be a missionary!! Let's get into it....... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Last night it was 8:59 and Sister Tripp asks if we were healed home. I said "Yes! After we knock this last door" and I just pointed to the one that we were right infront of. We go to knock the door and a lady comes out and starts to talk to us. She was SO sweet! We found her and she has been looking for a church home for a few years since they have moved here!! Yay! So cool!! • We have been looking for ways to show Gods love for our friends ti them. We decided to stop by our friend Veronica and we came at the perfect time. She was sick and her husband had gone to work and left tons of dishes from dinner the morning before out. She was feeling stressed. We told her that we would do the dishes. So we did! She was so grateful and we loved doing it!! • We met a family a couple weeks ago that said they...

The One Where I am One Year Older And Wiser Too

Hey yall! Wow. I never thought this day would come. I have been on my mission for one whole year. Un año. 12 months. 52 weeks. 365 days. 525,600 minutes. 31,536,000 seconds. That's crazy. It is bitter sweet. Let's get into it....... I'm gonna start this off a little differently than most my emails. I have been reflecting a lot on how much I have changed this past year. I have become a literal different person from who I was a year ago. That little 19 year old had no idea how much her life would change when she put that tag on and arrived in sin city. The Atonement of Jesus Christ has changed me. I have grown a deeper understanding of Gods plan for me. I have come to know that I truly am His child. Seeing the gospel of Jesus Christ change people and change families while I have been on my mission has been my invitation from my Heavenly Father to live it as well. And it has changed me. He has changed me. I am just in awe everyday by how merciful the Lord is. I find joy in l...
