The One Where There's Another One on God's Team!!
Hey yall!! It was awesome week! I really love being a missionary. Shout out to my cousin Savannah, now Sister Garrett, I am so honored to be a missionary with you!! Lets get into it......
Some happy things and what I learned from them:
• Veronica was baptized yesterday!! She gets sick a lot and we were praying for her the whole week that she wouldnt get sick and have to cancel her baptism last minute. Literally every second we were praying. And the day of her baptism came and she got a little sick, but she said she couldnt cancel. The Lord strengthened her! And when she got out of the water, she said she didnt feel sick anymore!! So amazing! She was so happy.
• I went on exchanges this week with Sister Bagley. We went to my area and Sister Tripp and I had only found 6 people that week. Sister Bagley and I set a goal to find 7 people! We had such a fun day and found 9 english speakers and 6 spanish speakers (she is a spanish missionary!). Such a fun day filled with many miracles. She is an awesome and very joyful missionary.
Some hard things and what I learned from them:
• This week I was asked to sacrifice my time after 9pm a lot, where I would usually be journaling and getting ready for bed. I was asked to give it up because I am one of the missionaries preparing stuff for zone conference this week. I am learning to sacrifice my time like Ammon did when he was teaching and serving King Lamoni in the Book of Mormon. Sacrificing my time has been the hardest things for me, because I am on the Lords time always here. And the time in the morning and the time at night is the only time I get for myself. But I am learning.
Some funny things that made me laugh:
• We met a lady this week that was going to a halloween party. She was on older lady and she was wearing a cheer leader outfit and we complimented her costume. She turns around and gets all excited and shows us that it says "Cougar" on the front. She says," because I like the young ones!!!!!" Hahaha ok.
• We were talking to this guy and we were reading a scripture. This lady gets home and she had a long day at work and was not kn the nest mood. Poor lady. But she was kinda being rude to us. Then she opens her front door and this MASSIVE dog comes sprinting out and runs into the sunset lol. They did not find that dog for like 30 min.
• The Elders moved into our apartment complex. So we have been racing to get the gym in the morning. It is war!! Hahaha
• We made a dance in our apartment. Its actually awesome. Maybe we will perform it for all of you soon.
Drum roll please

Sister Rose time!!

Sister Rose time!!Here is a scripture that I have been thinking about this week!
Ether 12:18
"And neither at any time hath any wrought miracles until after their faith; wherefore they first believed in the Son of God"
Believe in Christ. Just do it.
I love yall!
Sister Rose
