The One Where She Knows My Secret Now!

Hey yall! It was great week! I actually really can't remember much of what happened this week. But it was a pretty good week! We will see how much I can remember. Every week just goes by too fast. Let's get into it.....

Some happy things and what I learned from them:
• We got to go to Sister Hanes' new missionary training on Wednesday! So we got to go to the temple as well!! I needed that! Plus we got to see all of my favorite sisters, like all of the sisters from my first district and my only comp in the mission still was there and are training this transfer! So fun!! I love them all so much!
• We had some pretty good lessons this week with a few of our friends! I think that training has really helped me to learn how to teach by the spirit and just adapt really well to any situation. I am grateful for the stretching that I have been receiving this transfer. It has helped me to really just rely on God.
• We had interviews with President this week! Mine went really good, for some reason I always cry in interviews with President. Even if I am doing really good mentally. There is just something in the air in there. And it is so weird, because I really don't cry much at all. but he probably thinks I am the weepiest little sister he has ever seen, because I cry EVERYTIME. So weird. Ew.
• We had a great Easter dinner with our bishop and his wife, a few ward members, and one of our friends we are teaching! It was so fun!!
• We got to go to UNLV for exchanges!! It was so so fun!! Fingers crossed I go there at some point in my mission!
• Got to see my bestie's mom, Sister Stephenson today!! Don't be jealous Pierce!!

Some hard things and what I learned from them:
• There was another firework at our church building. Thankfully I wasn't there right when it happened, because I think I would have gone into a full blown panic attack mode. But I was there 5 min after it happened and I only went into slight panic attack mode. The youth were in a circle and the guy chucked it into the circle and it exploded on these poor youth and it was all up them. So evil. But now the FBI, police, and homeland security are investigating! So we good!
• Some days this week I was just floating hahaha. I was just going with the emotions. I am working on really focusing in and focusing on my purpose this week instead of just going through the motions

Some funny things that made me laugh:
• Well, yet another companion thinks I am absolutely insane. Sister Hanes has now learned about how crazy of a sleeper I am. Great. hahaha. I was I guess really anxious one night. Apparently I got up like 5 times, rummaged through her jewelry box, changed my clothes in the laundry room, and then thought it was 6:30am, when it was actually 2:30am. oops. Sorry that I am insane, Sister Hanes! But I gave her a good laugh, so she's welcome! That's what I exist for!!

Drum roll pleaseπŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯ Sister Rose time!!
I have been working on humility and holding back when people make me feel hurt, annoyed, sad, or angry. That is called bridling apparently. I have really mastered it recently. But I read in Matthew 26:63 and it said that "Jesus held his peace". I was thinking about that for a bit. And then I realized that becoming Christlike is not just bridling, it is completely changing your nature. He held his peace, because he only had peace in Him!! That was eye opening to me. My next step is learning to only have charity for the people hurt me. I want to develop that charity that cannot be shaken, just like Jesus Christ!! Just amazing to me!

I love yall!
Sister Rose
