The One Where I Went to Court

 Hey yall!! It was a great week!! I got my new companion! Her name is Sister Wright she is the best, the cutest, and exactly what I needed this transfer. Lets get into it.....


Some happy things and what I learned from them:
• I prayed so so hard before sister Wright arrived from the MTC that I would get a trainee who was exactly for me and who would help me and make me happier. I was so scared to train again. But right when Sister Wright walked into the building, i knew she was my trainee and I knew she was going to be soooo good for me. God answers prayers. She is the best and already such an amazing missionary.
• i got to be in a temporary trio companionship with my absolute favs!! Sister Potter and Sister Chappell!! I love them so much! We had a blast together, we will get into that later lollll🫣
• We prayed on Sunday night for people to teach and for miracles. On Monday, the referrals came rollin in!! We got 4 referrals on Monday!! So awesome! One was a cute lady named Leah.
• Leah had traveled 2 hours by bus to go to church with some elders in Vegas!! But she actually lives in Henderson. So cool! I love the effort! We met her last night. She was kinda cray cray, but very cute. She ranted to us for about 20 min and was getting a lil riled up. I had the prompting to share with her 3 Nephi 11:14-15. We shared it with her and you could see her face soften. It was really cool. She calmed down. I love the power of the scriptures and the spirit.

Some hard things and what I learned from them:
• It is SO hot. It hit 103 this week. Sorry I keep complaining about the heat, but honestly you are gonna hear it every week because its HOT.
• We found like 0 people this week. That is ok though. Because I still found joy. At the beginning of my mission, if I had a week like this I would have been down bad and crying. But I have learned to be ok and still have joy even when the work is hard and draining.

Some funny things that made me laugh:
• OK ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?!?! I don't think you are.... So, on Wednesday we had P-day and missed many many calls. That I guess were pretty important. Then on Thursday my trio companionship were doing weekly planning before our trainees got here. In the middle of weekly planning I get a call and answer it. It was an attorney and he asked if I had gotten his voicemail. I hadn't listened to it oops. He said ok, this is gonna be abrupt, but you are expected in court in 3 minutes. (It was because of the firework situation a while ago if you remember that) UM WHAT! I ripped off my pj pants that I had on, threw on a skirt, and we skirted to court. It was on the STRIP!! So we called president and he told us to still go, because we had to lol. So #we went in the red zone! Oop. I did so good testifying in court and i felt like such a boss lady queen. Sister Chappell and Sister Potter were there supporting me through it all. Love them. Love you sister Chappell, you are my queen. (Sister Potter cant be on my email list yet) Anyways, so ya, WILD week. Only that would happen to me on my mission. Everyday's a party with Sister Rose.

I am so grateful for prayer. So many things that I have been praying for have been answered this week. I know that God is aware of me and all of you. I know that he hears your prayers. Pray to him. He wants to hear from you.

  Hey yall! Another great work in Kingman. Sometimes I feel like I am not in America and this was one of those weeks. I love it! Let's get into it.... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Our friend Linda is just THE best ever. She is so short, the top of her head literally comes to the bottom of my ribs. But she is just like our little grandma. I love her. Guess what!?! Her baptism day is upon us! Long awaited, but it is this Saturday and she is so so so excited!! She told us yesterday that she just feels so ready! She feels like she has done the work(which she for sure has) and she feels ready to make this covenant with God. That is what the Atonement of Jesus Christ does for you people!! It brings you confidence. Confidence in the Lord and confidence in your abilities through Jesus Christ!! • We had a lesson with a returning member and his fiancé, Shi.  Hey yall! Another week! It was a miraculous week! Let's get into it........ Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Ahhhhh our friend Adhan is so amazing! She wants to be baptized but has not been able to come to church because she works on Sundays. We taught her the restoration yesterday and she ABSOLUTELY loved it!! She told us that she qas so grateful that she found the right church! She asked her boss last week for Sundays off and he let her know today that she can have an hour and a half off to go to church!!!! Ahhhhh we have been praying so hard for her yayyyy!!! • We have been trying to help thos part member household to feel loved and welcomed. But it has been hard to get to them. Yesterday we decided to heart attack their door and right notes and scriptures. So we did!! The non member husband texted us and thanked us for doing that because they had had a really hard day!!
