Sister Emma Rose - Nevada Las Vegas Mission

 Hey yall! Back at it again for another weekly. It was a week with many highs and lows. But all in all, it was a good week. The Lord really does help us to get through each and every day. Gonna be a quick one. Lets get into it........ Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Dana got to go to the temple!!! She said that she strated crying as soon as she turned onto the road that the temple was on!! So precious! She absolutely loved it!! • We got to feed the homeless with our ward!! • I got to go on my first exchanges as an STL and it was so awesome! The sisters I am over are literally the best!! I lucked out so much!! I feel so much love for them!! • Living with 4 sisters continues to be the best thing in the world! They seriously are the best!! I do fear that it means that we have been going to bed a little later than 10:30pm. We are repenting and trying to change that..... • Sister Palmer and I got to beat some elders in pickleball yet again. We are the dynamic duo. • We...

  Hey yall!!  This week was a great week full of change and so so many miracles!! Its been such a blast!! Let's get into it..... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Our friend Guillermo has been not feeling very confident about his baptism. But this week he told us that he got his answer!! His friend had a vision and told him about this vision and he said that it was his answer!! He said he is going to be baptized on August 14th!! So awesome!! And then we taught him about the temple and he said that he wanted to live there!! Hahahaha. He went to church finally and loved it!! So excited for him. Keep praying for Guillermo!! • We have been doing lessons with a returning member in our ward and she decided to invite her friend who is going on a mission soon. He then invited one of their nonmember friends and she is really searching for how she feels the spirit and wants to keep learning! She also cam to church on Sunday!! Hey yall!!  Another great week in Henderson, Nevada. We just got transfer news and I bet you didn't see this one coming..... I am staying in the Foothills YSA ward with Sister Wright!! But we are splitting the area and I am an STL now! Cray cray. Oh and we are moving apartments and the other sisters who will be in our ward are moving in with us!! Not what I was expecting, but I am so excited!! Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Dana was baptized! She has come such a long way and is glowing with the spirit. • We were walking down the street in 115 degree weather on the 4th when all of a sudden these two girls pulled over and told us to come to their house. The spirit wasn't screaming no, so we hopped in their car. They took us to their house and we had smoked salmon. So good. We found out the girl who picked us up is YSA aged and was on date for baptism a year ago. YAY miracles!!! • We had two lessons cancel and we prayed to know where to go. We went to an apartme...

 Hey yall! It was a great week! We are now officially the Nevada Henderson mission!! So crazy. It split yesterday. Yet again, I don't remember that much from the week, but lets see what I can pull out of my brain!! Let´s get into it.... Some happy things and what I learned from them:  • Two lessons cancelled the other night and we forgot to plan a back up. I was stressing to know where to go and Sister Wright said that we should say a prayer. So we did!! And where we decided to go, we found 2 people there!! The spirit guides. I am so grateful that Sister Wright was so in tune to the spirit and was able to calm down and follow the spirit. I can sometimes be a stress ball!  • Dana passed her baptismal interview. She was so nervous, but she did it!! Yay! She is so ready. She has already planned her entire baptism.  • We had an awesome lesson with Amor this week about temples!! He loved learning about the temple. Plus, we had a returning member there for the lesson and s...
