The One Where You Will Never Guess Where I Am Going.....

Hey yall!! 

Another great week in Henderson, Nevada. We just got transfer news and I bet you didn't see this one coming..... I am staying in the Foothills YSA ward with Sister Wright!! But we are splitting the area and I am an STL now! Cray cray. Oh and we are moving apartments and the other sisters who will be in our ward are moving in with us!! Not what I was expecting, but I am so excited!!


Some happy things and what I learned from them:
• Dana was baptized! She has come such a long way and is glowing with the spirit.
• We were walking down the street in 115 degree weather on the 4th when all of a sudden these two girls pulled over and told us to come to their house. The spirit wasn't screaming no, so we hopped in their car. They took us to their house and we had smoked salmon. So good. We found out the girl who picked us up is YSA aged and was on date for baptism a year ago. YAY miracles!!!
• We had two lessons cancel and we prayed to know where to go. We went to an apartment complex and immediately met a girl who has been trying to grow her relationship with God. She told us how she has overcome addiction and is striving to be a better Mom. She prayed that same day and felt that it was time to start growing her relationship with Him, then a few hours later, she met us! God puts people who are ready in our path!

Some hard things and what I learned from them:
• one of our friends started getting kinda mad and passive aggressive at us after a lesson that we had. Kinda weird. I was scared that he wouldn't come to church after. I fasted yesterday that he would come to church. And he did. So cool. And he was cooled down. 
• It hit 118 degrees yesterday. So hot.

Some funny things that made me laugh:
• one of our recent converts is obsessed with the Fibonacci sequence. He brought a pinecone to church that has the Fibonacci sequence on the bottom of it. And then he sat next to it in Sunday school. So presh. Picture will be included.
• a guy sat next to one of our recent converts and she goes smells him and goes "you smell good" presh. 
• the first blooming romance is donezo, but there is a new one. So i will keep you updated....

  Hey yall! Another great work in Kingman. Sometimes I feel like I am not in America and this was one of those weeks. I love it! Let's get into it.... Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Our friend Linda is just THE best ever. She is so short, the top of her head literally comes to the bottom of my ribs. But she is just like our little grandma. I love her. Guess what!?! Her baptism day is upon us! Long awaited, but it is this Saturday and she is so so so excited!! She told us yesterday that she just feels so ready! She feels like she has done the work(which she for sure has) and she feels ready to make this covenant with God. That is what the Atonement of Jesus Christ does for you people!! It brings you confidence. Confidence in the Lord and confidence in your abilities through Jesus Christ!! • We had a lesson with a returning member and his fiancé, Shi.  Hey yall! Another week! It was a miraculous week! Let's get into it........ Some happy things and what I learned from them: • Ahhhhh our friend Adhan is so amazing! She wants to be baptized but has not been able to come to church because she works on Sundays. We taught her the restoration yesterday and she ABSOLUTELY loved it!! She told us that she qas so grateful that she found the right church! She asked her boss last week for Sundays off and he let her know today that she can have an hour and a half off to go to church!!!! Ahhhhh we have been praying so hard for her yayyyy!!! • We have been trying to help thos part member household to feel loved and welcomed. But it has been hard to get to them. Yesterday we decided to heart attack their door and right notes and scriptures. So we did!! The non member husband texted us and thanked us for doing that because they had had a really hard day!!
