The One Where There Were Highs and Lows

Hey yall! Back at it again for another weekly. It was a week with many highs and lows. But all in all, it was a good week. The Lord really does help us to get through each and every day. Gonna be a quick one. Lets get into it........

Some happy things and what I learned from them:
• Dana got to go to the temple!!! She said that she strated crying as soon as she turned onto the road that the temple was on!! So precious! She absolutely loved it!!
• We got to feed the homeless with our ward!!
• I got to go on my first exchanges as an STL and it was so awesome! The sisters I am over are literally the best!! I lucked out so much!! I feel so much love for them!!
• Living with 4 sisters continues to be the best thing in the world! They seriously are the best!! I do fear that it means that we have been going to bed a little later than 10:30pm. We are repenting and trying to change that.....
• Sister Palmer and I got to beat some elders in pickleball yet again. We are the dynamic duo.
• We got to clean our car today and that actually made me so happy.
• We just have the best ward and I am so gratefyl for the friendships I have made her. I will cherish them forever.

Some hard things and what I learned from them:
• This week was a little harder than most of the weeks on my mission. But mighty prayer has helped a lot. I am learning to trust in the Lord.
• A few of our friends and the other sisters in our wards friends broke up with us this week (told us that they dont want to meet with us anymore). So sad. Ugh that is the worst part of missionary work. You just feel so much love for these people and are so happy for them and the changes they are making in their life and then satan comes in and distracts them and tells them lies!! It's so sad. But, that is where trusting in the Lord comes in..... He's got a plan for them and He will accomplish his purpose. Which is also pur purpose. We make a pretty good team.

Some funny things that made me laugh:
• I got like 5 flat tires hust yesterday alone. The other sisters had to pick us up from the side of the road. It was just a hot mess. But I did purchase a new bike tire innertube today, so that problem will be fixed on this fine pday today.
• it started raining as soom as we got into our hosue to do weekly planning and I told sister wright that that is how I know that God loves me. He didnt male me walk in the down pour!! (Its monsoon season here in Vegas right now)
• Sister Wright got her dress caught in her bike. I am only laughing about it because it did not rip her dress thankfully!!

Drum roll pleaseπŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯ Sister Rose time!!
I LOVED the come follow me from this last week!! Amazing chapters. We read Alma 31 and got to see how we shouldnt treat our faith. The Zoramites worshipped God in pride one day a week and then left and never spoke of God again (v. 23). How many times have I been this person? Thats th9e question I asked myself. I hate to admit it, but many times. I have come on my mission for many reasons, but a reason that I didnt know beforehand was that I came here to know how to be a lifelong disciple of christ. I came here to learn that I needed to include God in every aspect of my life. How can you include God in every aspect of your life this week? Do it!!

I love yall!
Sister Rose
