The One Where I Am Flying the Coop

Hey y'all!! Another great week in the YSA ward. Its transfer week and guess what..... I'm leaving my beloved foothills YSA ward:( I am going to be going to the Anthem hills area in the really rich part of Henderson!! I will be follow up training my mission presidents niece lollll. Scary!! I am really excited. But also terrrified. I have not been in a family ward for 7 1/2 months. I am so excited to get fed more often though!! Its bitter sweet to leave this area. I grew up here. But I am excited for change! Lets get into it.....

Some happy things and what I learned from them:
• I had the best exchange with Sister Palmer (one of the sisters that live in my apartment with me) She is on her first transfer and is ABSOLUTEY POWERFUL!! I loved learning and growing with her and from her. We found 5 people together! So amazing!! I loved how loving and how powerfully she taught the people that we talked to. She was amazing at applying the gospel to them.
• Our friend who is getting baptized soon came back from his vacation and passed his baptismal interview!! He LOVES the gospel and just reads stuff on the gospel library every chance he gets!!
• I decided this week to make a lot of goals to get fired up about the work again. I was able to achieve my goals to improve and I felt so much love and appreciation from the Lord. I am learning and growing and I am so grateful.

Some hard things and what I learned from them:
• we got bashed a lot this week, but with every one of those interactions I just felt confirmation from the spirit that I had the truth because I was able to feel peace and joy and calm as I testified if my beliefs with kind language.
• I am scared to move onto a new area and leave all these wonderful people I have met here. I am scared to go to a new area and have to be new again. I am scared because I grew up here. But it will be good.

Some funny things that made me laugh:
• Sister Palmer and I witnessed a dog fight!! Dogs growling and snarling left and right lollll
• I accidentally crashed into Sister Palmer with my bike. Oops. Shes ok though.
• sorry my emails are getting less and less funny. I don't know if it is because my memory is getting worse or if it is because I am getting more missionary and dull. Ugh I'm scared. Hahaha it autocorrected to sacred at first. I guess I am that too.

Drum roll pleaseπŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯Sister Rose time!!

I LOVE THE BOOK OF MORMON! Look at this promise that a prophet of God give for reading the Book of Mormon everyday!!:

"My dear brothers and sisters, I promise that as you prayerfully study the Book of Mormon every day, you will make better decisions—every day. I promise that as you ponder what you study, the windows of heaven will open, and you will receive answers to your own questions and direction for your own life. I promise that as you daily immerse yourself in the Book of Mormon, you can be immunized against the evils of the day" President Nelson, Oct 2017

So read it everyday!! Just do it! Lets put it to the test!!

I love yall!
Sister Rose
